Introduction

            Two of the greatest inventions of the 20^th century were the telephone and the microchip. When these two inventions came together it opened a whole new dimension for man to leave his mark. That dimension is better known as the internet, or at the global level, the World Wide Web. The rise of the internet is one of the biggest components that make this freshly emerging environment in the Information Age so dynamic. Businesses from the multi-national corporation level to the mom and pop restaurants have benefited from being able to be plugged into this information infrastructure. It was only natural because the internet offered dirt cheap marketing and advertizing anywhere they could post a link.
