A Desk Is a Dangerous Place From Which to View the World

I am having one of those PTS/family bullshit days.  It will pass, and I will be a better person for it, and that’s pretty much that.

I have been reading about and Abram and the covenant that God promised the children of Hagar.  Understanding Hagar and Saria and Abram really helps explain the divisions between the various peoples of the Book, and since most of the people who adhere to the Book can’t read it anymore or won’t…  It’s messy out there!

I found myself chasing the line of David through Solomon and encountered the odd fact that there was a man who was declared to be the Lion of Judah in 1930.  I wonder what became of him and his offspring.

“In the Rastafari movement “The Lion of Judah” mentioned in Genesis 49:9 and Revelation 5:5 is considered to be a reference to Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia. Emperor Haile Selasie is believed to be the biblical lion of Judah because he was crowned on November 2, 1930 with the titles “KING of Kings, LORD of lords, Conquering Lion of Judah, Elect of God, the Light of the World” and is a descendant of the tribe of Judah through the lineage of King David and King Solomon.Lion of Judah, which suggests that if he were to marry a woman from the tribe of Dan, that he could complete the union of the lineage of Judah and Israel – and therefore theoretically help bridge this disasterous gap.

Today I also found an application that told me my Bride Price in Nigeria.  Bride Price App  Apparently, I am worth approximately 850,550.00 NGN.  I wonder what that is in Bitcoin.  It’s not a comfy feeling; however, I was made intimately aware of the fact previously that here in Canada, some of these sociopaths seem to consider the value of human life to be roughly equal to $0.86, after rendingering, for their elemental metals.
