Setting Boundaries

Boundary setting is an important part of self care and is often overlooked in our digital environment. As an empathic healer and consultant I am often asked to provide my services and time at no charge, day or night, with little regard for personal and professional boundaries. This must stop.

I am under advisement to ask for retainers so that legal contracts regarding personal data privacy for those I conduct business with can be wrought out, with the further suggestion that my time for domestic consulting in the capacity of say, public speaking, should be about $100 an hour plus travel expenses. I am working on sorting out the technical details at present.
